THE 5th AUB GENERAL ASSEMBLY (14-15 /11/ 2011) ACCRA, GHANA

The 5th Ordinary session of the General Assembly of the African Union of Broadcasting (AUB) which will be held in Accra, Ghana, from 14 to 15 November 2011 at the kind invitation of the Ghana Broadcasting Consortium (Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, Metro TV and TV3 Limited). It will be preceeded on the 12th November 2011 by the meeting of the Executive Council and followed by the 5th World Electronic Media Forum from 16 to 18 November 2011. It will be a week of celebration of broadcasting in Africa with the rest of the World. Susbscribed here.
 
5th WORLD ELECTRONIC MEDIA FORUM ( 16-18 NOVEMBER 2011 ) ACCRA, GHANA
WEMF 5 is coming to Sub-Saharan Africa at a time that marks the fifth milestone of the launching of AUB. Considerable efforts have since been made to build a bridge between the past (44 years of broadcasting as URTNA) and the new era of broadcasting on the continent. Your participation in WEMF V will offer broadcasters from Africa and the other parts of the World the opportunity to share your knowledge and the experience with the view to build a new Information and Communication Society. DECISIONS OF THE 4th ORDINARY SESSION OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY

The 4th ordinary session of the General Assembly of the African Union of Broadcasting (AUB) was held at the Conference Hall of Hotel El Aurassi in Algiers, Algeria on the 28th and 29th of November 2010. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Julien Pierre AKPAKI (Benin) President of the Union assisted by Messrs Tewfik KHELLADI (Algeria), 1st Vice-President and Victor MBEBE (Mozambique), 2nd Vice-President. Also in attendance were Mr. Lawrence ATIASE, the CEO of AUB and members of the Assembly. Download here
